Gerald & Anona Coates

Gerald & Anona Coates are the team leaders for Pioneer Engage Church. Gerald founded the Pioneer Network of Churches in the UK and overseas and is a well known author, speaker and broadcaster. He recently started his 10th book ‘Legacy – what will you leave behind?’  Anona is a speaker and author. She published her autobiography ‘I wish I was,’ and her passion is evangelism. They have three grown up sons and are proud grandparents of three children.

Dave & Renay Banko

Dave & Renay Banko are missionaries from the USA and have been with the church since February 2007. Dave serves as a trustee, treasurer, and event coordinator, while Renay leads the Kidstuff children’s ministry. Dave is also the current chairman of Churches Together in Leatherhead.  They have a heart for the kingdom and building bridges with other churches, Christian organizations, government and civic organizations. Dave is a certified project management professional working for a global financial software firm while Renay works for a local supermarket. They have four children.

Gary & Joyce Jenkins

Gary & Joyce have been involved in church leadership of various kinds for the last 20 years.

They have been at Engage since 2009. “It’s a privilege to be here.”

Gary works part time as a management consultant and Joyce is a retired teacher. They very much work as a team.

They have a vision of seeing society transformed by the gospel through supernatural signs & wonders…”on earth as in heaven”.

Their mission – GO! – preach the Kingdom – heal the sick & cast out demons – make disciples of all nations…..just like that!!

They have two amazing sons who are both serving in local churches and two lovely daughters in law. They also have three wonderful grandsons.

Sue is a member of the Leadership Team who is very active in outreach ministries and serving the community. She has a background in the performing arts, regularly teaches dance and is seen singing alongside other members of the Church band in the High Street and community festivals. She is married to Vince and they have a 3 year old son Issac. Sue’s passions lie in evangelism, music and dance and she has been part of Pioneer Engage Church for over 5 years.

John Noble

John Noble, together with his wife Christine, lead ‘spiritconnect’, a network of churches within Pioneer. He was chair of the National Charismatic Leaders Conference for 24 years and travels in ministry internationally and in the UK. He has written several books, the most recent being ‘The Shaking’. He has a passion to see Christians from all streams and denominations working together locally and in mission.

Paul Williams

Paul Williams is an entrepreneur and investor who owns and runs several companies in the business services, technology and entertainment areas. He is also a trustee of Catch 22 one of the UK’s largest young people’s charities. Paul is married with 2 children and lives in an extended family.
